A LONGVIEW ELOPEMENT
Melissa and Roy’s decision to exchange their vows in the heart of Longview, Alberta, surrounded by the stunning snow-capped mountains, made for the most perfect setting. They chose to celebrate this special moment at Willow Hill Lodge, keeping it intimate with just their closest family by their side. As they exchanged their vows, I couldn’t help but be moved by the depth of their words. It was one of those moments that left all of us in tears, including me -- thankfully, the camera was there to hide my face! Their love and dedication to each other were so evident, it was impossible not to feel completely drawn into the beauty of what they were creating together.
The mountains towering in the background, combined with the early thaw of spring, symbolized everything about this new chapter for them: fresh beginnings, new possibilities, and a shared future full of adventures. As we made our way through the mud and snow to capture their wedding portraits, it was clear just how deeply these two were in love. The way they looked at each other, the small touches, and the quiet smiles -- they had such an effortless connection. Watching them interact as a photographer was an absolute joy, and I could feel the genuine bond between them in every frame I captured.
