RED GOWNS AND MOUNTAIN MAGIC
There are moments in life that feel almost cinematic and photographing Ashlyn’s graduation session in the awe-inspiring landscapes of Kananaskis Country was one of them. Draped in a gown of deep, radiant red, voluminous and flowing like a sunset over the mountains, she moved through the world with a grace and joy that was impossible to miss. Hidden in the folds of her dress was a small emblem of Lightning McQueen -- a playful secret that spoke to her fun-loving heart and the little sparks of whimsy that make her truly herself.
We wandered together through whispering forests, across vast golden plains and along quiet stretches of highway, letting the light, the landscape and her laughter guide the camera. Every frame captured not just her beauty but the warmth, vibrancy and kindness that she carries wherever she goes.
Ashlyn is the kind of person whose spirit lingers in a room long after she leaves it. She is soft yet strong, joyful yet thoughtful and full of dreams that feel as boundless as the mountains themselves. I was endlessly inspired by her and I cannot wait to see the incredible heights she will reach -- both in life and in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to know her.
