ROBYN'S LIFESTYLE SESSION
There is something uniquely inspiring about photographing entrepreneurs -- the spark of an idea coming to life, the excitement of building something new, and the authenticity that shines through when someone is fully in their element. Robyn is one of those people who carries that spark everywhere she goes. A repeat client and a joy to photograph, she brings light and energy into every session, and this shoot was no exception.
For her latest app launch, Robyn needed imagery that would do more than simply look professional -- she wanted photographs that truly told the story of her work. Images that felt genuine, approachable, and aligned with the passion she pours into her business. We set up in her home studio, a space that reflects her creativity and drive and immediately the atmosphere felt both professional and deeply personal.
Throughout the session, Robyn shared her vision for the app -- the way it will guide, inspire, and empower its users. Listening to her talk about her direction and ideas, her joy was contagious and it became clear that every image we created needed to carry that same sense of authenticity and energy.
We moved through a variety of setups: simple structural fitness movements that highlight her expertise and discipline, business-casual looks that speak to her role as a leader and entrepreneur, and candid lifestyle moments that captured her natural ease. The balance of strength, professionalism and approachability came together beautifully, creating a gallery of images that felt dynamic, versatile and unmistakably true to who Robyn is.
What I love most about sessions like this is the collaboration -- the way ideas flow back and forth, the creativity that builds in real time, and the chance to witness someone’s vision taking shape right in front of the lens. Working with women who are carving their own path, building businesses and sharing their gifts with the world is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
In just under an hour, we created a collection that Robyn can now use across her app, social platforms, and promotional materials -- images that will grow with her as her business expands. Robyn, thank you for once again trusting me to tell your story through my lens! Your energy is inspiring and I can’t wait to see where this new chapter takes you.
